Restoration Christian Ministries

For over 26 years, we have been dedicated to restoring lives and building a stronger, more equitable community. Rooted in faith and committed to service, RCM offers a range of programs designed to support and uplift individuals facing various challenges. Whether you need assistance or want to join us in making a difference, we invite you to explore our initiatives and become part of our mission to foster hope, opportunity, and justice for all.

About Us

In the late 1990’s, a group of key individuals that shared a passion for dealing with the root causes that were creating problems within the local community came together with a committed focus on healthy individuals, thereby creating healthy families and marriages. Their vision was to create opportunities for families to realize personal, economic, spiritual, and social development. Operation Nehemiah-West (ON-West) was established in February 1999 under the leadership of the late Dr. Felix Gilbert before later being renamed to Restoration Christian Ministries in 2013. His experience as a homeless teenager in the Caribbean deeply impacted him and later inspired the creation of RCM. Since its founding, RCM has had a continuous presence in the community serving those in need of healthcare, housing, counseling, rental assistance, food assistance, job training, early education, childcare, and energy assistance. RCM seeks to offer economic, education, and housing opportunities for everyone, regardless of race, gender, culture, religious beliefs, or background.
